黑曜石娛樂（英語：Obsidian Entertainment）是Interplay旗下的黑島工作室於2003年解散後，吸收其部分成員而成立的一家美國電子遊戲開發公司。黑曜石目前主要爲PC與家用主機平臺開發遊戲。
公司成員[編輯]
黑曜石娛樂現由創始人共同管理：Feargus Urquhart、Chris Parker、Darren Monahan、Chris Avellone和Chris Jones。2005年7月，黑曜石聘請了曾開發過《冰風谷》的喬什·索亞。2011年10月，異塵餘生系列的創始人之一蒂姆·坎宣佈加盟黑曜石娛樂[2]。
公司簡史[編輯]
2006年3月23日，黑曜石娛樂與世嘉公司宣佈雙方將共同開發一款新的角色扮演遊戲[3]；遊戲名為《阿爾法協議》，主題圍繞現代間諜戰爭展開。該遊戲於2010年6月1日正式發行[4]。
2006年12月13日，世嘉公司宣佈黑曜石娛樂將為其開發一款改編於異形電影系列的角色扮演遊戲[5]。這款遊戲的開發隨後被取消[6]。另一款正在開發的遊戲Seven Dwarves在這一時期被取消[7][8]。
2009年4月20日，貝塞斯達軟件公司宣佈其旗下輻射系列的新作品《輻射：新維加斯》將交付黑曜石開發。遊戲後於2010年10月發行[9]。
2010年2月11日，Red Eagle Games與黑曜石宣佈雙方將共同開發一款基於科幻小説系列《時間之輪》的角色扮演遊戲[10]，但此計畫於2014年取消。2010年度E3遊戲展上的消息[11]指出黑曜石將為史克威爾艾尼克斯開發《地牢圍攻3》。遊戲後於2011年6月21日發行。
2011年12月1日，GameInformer報道黑曜石娛樂正在開發一款改編自動畫南方公園的角色扮演遊戲；名稱定爲《南方公園：真理之杖》。2012年3月14日，媒體報道黑曜石取消了一款次世代遊戲的開發，並從該項目開發組與南方公園開發組中裁員共約20至30人[12]。
2018年11月11日，微軟宣佈收購黑曜石娛樂[13][14][15]。

As we stopped working on Alpha Protocol in late summer of last year everybody transferred over either to a private internal product we're making right now - which I want to talk to you about soon - or they went to Dungeon Siege III.
