扇蟹科（学名：Xanthidae）是软甲纲十足目中的一个科。这个科的动物往往色彩鲜艳，含有烹饪时不会被杀灭、至今为止没有解毒剂的毒素[2]。这些毒素与四齿鲀科的河豚毒素及蛤蚌毒素类似，可能是由与这些螃蟹共生的弧菌属细菌如溶藻弧菌（V. alginolyticus）及副溶血弧菌（V. parahaemolyticus）生产的[2]。
分类
[编辑]许多原来属于扇蟹科的物种后来被分出去分到其它科去了。虽然如此，扇蟹科依然是螃蟹当中物种最多、物种多样性最丰富的科，目前已知的它共有13个亚科、133个属和572个种[3]。
