拟蝎（学名：Pseudoscorpionida），也称书蝎、伪蝎，是一类小型的蛛形纲节肢动物，体长多小于8毫米，罕有达到厘米级的。拟蝎外形似蝎，故名。但它们腹部几近等宽，而无腹部和后腹部之分，也无蛰针。拟蝎广泛分布于朽叶、苔藓、土壤、树皮下、石下等处，有些种在沿海潮间带的漂浮物或海藻上。由于它们体型太小，加上栖息地性质等原因而甚少被人察觉。实际上它们广泛存在，在某些地区密度很大，而且种类丰富，已知有430属3,300余种。体型细小的它们常透过携播行为进行长距离的移动。[1]
拟蝎一般对人类无害，因为它们依靠衣蛾幼虫、鲣节虫幼虫、啮虫、蚂蚁、螨与小型双翅目作食粮。
外部形态[编辑]
- 体型微小，体长大约只有2至8毫米[2]，最大型的种类为阿森松岛的Garypus titanius[3]，体长可达12毫米[4][5]，不过大多种类偏小，平均约只有3毫米[6]，身体区分为头胸部与腹部，腹部分作12节。
- 头胸部有一对由触肢特化的螯钳与四对足。足分作5至7节，节数常是科学家用来分类拟蝎的依据。螯钳上具有毒腺，用来捕捉与麻痹猎物。
- 尾部末端无钩螫或细鞭[7]。
