2023 年 6 月 21 日，一群WGA和SAG–AFTRA成员在洛杉矶举行罢工。

2023年美国编剧协会大罢工对美国电影和电视行业造成了重大影响，导致许多影视项目停工或推迟制作。这是自2019冠状病毒病疫情以来美国电影和电视制作最大规模的中断，也是美国编剧工会(WGA) 自2007-08年罢工以来最大规模的停工。 [1]
