碗状龙属（属名：Craterosaurus）是剑龙科下的一属恐龙，生活于下白垩纪的凡蓝今阶到巴列姆阶，约1亿4000万年前到1亿2500万年前。它的化石在英格兰被发现。它被认为可能是皇家龙的次异名，不过却只有很少的化石而不能断定。
模式种是波顿碗状龙（C. pottonensis），于1874年由哈利·丝莱博士（Harry Govier Seeley）所叙述、命名[1]。属名意为“碗罐蜥蜴”，种名是以化石发现处的波顿尸骨层为名。哈利·丝莱将正模标本（编号SMC B.28814）错误鉴定为头颅骨基部。在1912年，法兰兹·诺普乔（Franz Nopcsa）鉴定化石为一个神经弓的前段[2]。
