愛麗絲·華克（英語：Alice Walker，1944年2月9日—），美國作家和社會活動家，曾獲普立茲小說獎、美國國家圖書獎^[1]^[2]^[3]，代表作為《紫色姐妹花》，史提芬·史匹堡曾將其改編為同名電影。

早期生活[編輯]

愛麗絲·華克出生於佐治亞州的一個小鎮^[4]，有兄弟姊妹八人，她最小。母親為幫傭^[5]，從小便必須打理家務^[6]。八歲時因哥哥不慎導致右眼失明^[7]。曾任教於加州大學，致力介紹非洲作家，並長期關注民權、婦女運動。

個人生活[編輯]

1965年，華克與猶太民權律師Melvyn Rosenman Leventhal相遇。他們1967年3月17日在紐約市結婚。那年晚些時候夫婦搬遷到密西西比州積遜，成為「密西西比第一對合法結婚的跨種族夫婦」。^[8]^[9]他們受到白人的騷擾和威脅，包括三K黨。他們夫婦1969年生了一個女兒Rebecca（英語：Rebecca Walker）。華克和她的丈夫於1976年離婚。^[10]

90年代中期，華克與女創作歌手特蕾西·查普曼開始了一段戀情。^[11]^[12]
