Think Global是一家挪威的電動汽車公司，2011年6月22日第四次宣佈破產[1]。破產後，該公司很快被Electric Mobility Solutions AS收購，但於2012年8月停產[2][3][4]。
歷史[編輯]
該公司於1991年1月在貝魯姆成立，最初名稱為「Pivco」（Personal Independent Vehicle Company的縮寫）。1999年，該公司被福特收購，生產Think City。
可能由於加州零排放汽車政策的變化，福特於2003年1月31日放棄了THINK。該公司被賣給KamKorp[5]。2006年，它又被挪威公司InSpire收購。THINK裝配線於2007年11月下旬重新啟動，開始生產重新設計的City。[6]
2008年12月15日，THINK以「緊急財務困境」為由，暫停了所有汽車生產並解僱了50%的員工[7][8]。2009年1月13日，它獲得4000萬挪威克朗的過橋貸款[9]。2009年8月27日，THINK宣佈通過4700萬美元的資本重組，恢復正常業務運營。[10]
Th!nk City於2011年3月再次停產，公司於2011年6月22日申請破產[1]，同年7月被Electric Mobility Solutions AS收購，包括全資子公司THINK North America、THINK UK。新的母公司宣佈計劃於2012年初重新開始生產改進的Think City[2]，但2012年8月再次停產[3]。
