- †单孔属 Monotrematum
- †顽齿鸭嘴兽属 Obdurodon
- 鸭嘴兽属 Ornithorhynchus
- 鸭嘴兽 Ornithorhynchus anatinus (Shaw, 1799)，基异名：Platypus anatinus Shaw, 1799
Steropodon、Teinolophos原来也位于该科，但是后来划分入新的科，即硬齿鸭嘴兽科。[2]
