波子（英语：Balltze，2011年1月9日—2023年8月18日[1]）是一只来自香港的柴犬，是网络模因“Cheems”的主角。

波子于2011年1月9日出生[2]。在它一岁时，其原主人由于移民海外而将它交由其任职时装设计师的朋友Kathy领养。[3][4]她的哥哥以其喜欢的饮料“弹珠汽水”为它命名，[4]被主人昵称为“波波”。[5]

2022年5月，波子被诊断出患有胰腺炎[6]，于同年6月康复。[7]然而于2023年5月，它的主人表示它患有严重的呼吸道疾病。[8]2023年8月18日，波子的主人在Instagram宣布它在接受胸膜腔抽液（英语：thoracentesis）手术时去世，终年12岁[9]，逝世前它同时患有癌症[1]。而Kathy曾在2020年接受《Know Your Meme》访问时表示，她希望未来“（Cheems）模因淡去，Doge永恒。请记得我叫‘波子’，而不是‘Cheems’或‘cheemsburger’，我只叫波子。”[4]

Cheems模因[编辑]

Cheems在波兰弗罗茨瓦夫的同志游行中出现。注意标语中将równość （平等）一词拼写为rómwność。

在网络模因中，波子被外国网民称为Cheems，在台湾又被称为“小废柴”。Cheems被网民塑造成一只喜爱吃起士汉堡（cheemsburgers）、且有语言障碍的狗，所有字后面都有个m音[10]。此模因源于主人于2017年9月4日于Instagram上发布一张它坐在地上的照片[11]，于2019年6月左右被Reddit网民发布到r/dogelore版块上[4][5]。

Cheems亦在“Swole Doge vs Cheems”模因中出现。该模因中左面的肌肉Doge代表某事物在昔日的强势，而右面的Cheems代表该事物现时的弱势，[5]于2019冠状病毒病疫情期间爆红，例如香港就有网民以此格式讽刺政府于疫情期间禁止晚市堂食的措施。[12][13]而另一表情包格式则以《哥斯拉大战金刚》为题材，第一格中的哥斯拉与金刚代表了两个不相伯仲的概念，而在第二格中手持球棒追着他们打的Cheems是将此两者辗压的第三个概念。 [14]

2020年，又有另一个与Cheems相关的模因诞生。在此格式的表情包中，Cheems用球棒打另一只狗，发出“bonk”的声音，同时说“滚去色色监狱”（英语：Go to horny jail），被网民用于回应性暗示消息。[5]《卫报》记者Caleb Quinley留意到有人在2021年缅甸反军事政变示威中使用这张图片。[15]

Cheems模因亦在西班牙语圈十分流行，有“no puede ser”（这没可能）和“me da amsiedad (ansiedad)”（这让我感到蕉绿）等对白。[16][17]西班牙广播电视公司曾于2021年表示：“一个模因显然胜于千字，而Cheems和Doge现已成为网络文化的一部分，它们不断自我重塑，为我们的生活添上色彩或者让我们找到自己的位置。”[5]主人Kathy在《Know Your Meme》的访问中表示表示本人最喜欢的Cheems表情包就是由西班牙语圈人士制作的，当中Cheems正在洗澡，说：“你能继续滑手机吗？我在喜早（洗澡）呢。”（¿Podrías seguir bajando? Es que me estoy bamñamdo (bañando).）。 [4]

波子爆红初期，Kathy表示她当时有点招架不住，一方面是因为此模因带有荒诞和讽刺的本质令她难以接受，另一方面她在波子爆红后收到大量粉丝的视频电话，更有人向她提出一些不合理的要求。后来她看见外国有人发售Cheems的商品后，决定自己也成立网店，与一家管理公司以及另一家美国玩具公司合作，推出T恤、手办等各种商品，收益则捐赠香港本地的非牟利宠物机构。[10]

有人以Cheems模因为基础，推出Cheems Inu和Cheemscoin等加密货币。 《国际财经时报》的Parth Dubey认为，这些加密货币“人们想要的狗狗主题加密币”（a number of wannabe dog-themed coins）之一，与狗狗币和柴犬币竞争。 [18]
