羅曼·維托德·英伽登（Roman Witold Ingarden,1893-1970），波蘭哲學家，研究領域包括現象學、本體論和美學。

二戰之前，英伽登的多數著作都是以德文出版的。戰爭期間他回到波蘭，所以他的一些有關本體論的著作並沒有被哲學界注意到。

生平[編輯]

英伽登於1893年2月5日在奧匈帝國的克拉科夫出生。他最早在利沃夫大學跟隨卡濟梅爾茲·塔多斯基學習數學和哲學，然後轉到哥廷根跟埃德蒙·胡塞爾學習哲學。他被胡塞爾視為最優秀的學生之一，並陪同胡塞爾到弗萊堡大學。在1918年，英伽登提交了博士論文，導師為胡塞爾。[2]他的論文的題目是《亨利·伯格森的直觀與智性》。

之後英伽登回到了波蘭，在他獲得博士學位後一直在那裡進行學術研究。長期以來，被迫以中學教學來維持營生。1925年，他將他的《基本問題》這篇文章提交給了利沃夫大學的卡濟梅爾茲·塔多斯基。這篇論文被英語哲學界注意到了。[3]1933年，大學向他提供教授職位。他以《文學藝術作品》[2]（Das literarische Kunstwerk。Eine Untersuchung aus dem Grenzgebiet der Ontologie，Logik und Literaturwissenschaft，1931）得以聞名於世。

在1939年到1941年蘇聯占領利沃夫期間，英伽登繼續他的大學活動。1941年德軍開展巴巴羅薩行動之後，英伽登向學生秘密教授數學和哲學。在他的房子被炸毀之後，他繼續寫作《關於世界之存在的爭端》一書。[2]

在戰後不久的1945年，英伽登於德國的尼古拉哥白尼大學（英語：Nicolaus Copernicus University）擔任教授，但被共產黨政府於1946年取締。之後，他轉到了克拉科夫的亞捷隆大學，在那裡取得教職。然而在1949年，由於他所謂的唯心主義，英伽登被斥為「唯物主義的敵人」並禁止授課。在1957年，他再次回到亞捷隆大學，在那裡繼續任教、寫作和出版。1970年6月14日，英伽登因腦出血去世。[2]

英伽登是實在論現象學家（英語：Realist phenomenology），因此不接受胡塞爾的先驗唯心主義。他接受過現象學的訓練，但他的著作大體上都是相關於本體論的。因此英伽登是最著名的現象學本體論學者之一，他基於可以提供這本體論知識的所有經驗的基本特徵來描述各種對象之存在的本體論結構和狀態。

英伽登最著名的作品涉及美學和文學，這也他是最被英語母語讀者所熟知的方面。英伽登美學方面著作中的特別關注點在某種程度上被他的一般哲學立場不幸誤導，後者集中於他在「關於世界之存在的爭端」中提及的有關形式的、存在論的本體論與質料的本體論的觀點。
