丹·大衛獎（英語：Dan David Prize）每年都從對過去，現在和未來三個時間段的研究中，分別選出三個在其領域作出傑出貢獻的個人或集體頒發獎項。每個獎項共一百萬美元，以此作表彰。
獲獎者需要將10%的獎金捐贈給博士生獎學金，幫助世界各地優秀的博士生，以及博士後的傑出研究人員。[1]
歷史[編輯]
丹·大衛基金會由一個羅馬尼亞出生的以色列商人和慈善家丹·大衛於2000年創立並捐贈1億美元。[2] 其創始主任是教授Gad Barzilai。該基金會在特拉維夫大學頒獎。2002年5月在特拉維夫大學的是其第一次頒獎儀式。
在2016年，倫敦大學學院的嘉芙蓮院拒絕了丹·大衛獎，其獎金作為獎學金捐獻給特拉維夫大學。[3]

The pair were given the Dan David Prize – awarded to people who have made 'an outstanding contribution to humanity' – at Tel Aviv University in Israel.
