柯瑞·布克（英语：Cory Anthony Booker）在2019年2月1日宣布竞选美国总统。[4] 除了英语，他也用西班牙语回答问题，[5] 用西班牙语撰写推文。[6] 川普总统当天回应布克的竞选宣布，评论他没有机会。[7] 根据2019年11月民调显示，威斯康辛州的选民如果只能选择布克或现任总统的话，他会赢 (Booker 45%, Trump 44%)。[8]

如果当选，将会是罕有的未婚总统，因为自1886年开始所有总统都已婚。[9][10] 由于民调的支持度太低，所以布克不符合资格出席12月的电视辩论，合资格的人(以民调支持度排序)：拜登、桑德斯、华伦、布塔朱吉、克罗布彻、施泰尔、杨安泽[11]。

他反对白人优越主义。[43] 他认为宗教和LGBT权利可以共存。[44] 2019年11月，被问到黑人长者是否普遍觉得 投票给一个同性恋的总统候选人(即皮特·布塔朱吉) 难受/尴尬? 他答：他及他的母亲都认为同性恋人参选总统 是件好事情。[45] 他认为中国领导人终身制 (英语：getting rid of term limits) 是走向威权主义，并承诺指出中国对人权的侵犯。[46]
