英文维基社群为COVID-19疫情制作特别公告，在首页“置顶”

英文维基百科社群十分罕见地决定把新兴冠状病毒COVID-19疫情的相关条目“置顶”在首页的新闻动态版面。这个题为“冠状病毒大流行”的版块下面还分有“疾病”“病毒”“时间线”“各地区”“影响”五个链接。

维基百科社群普遍对此类变动十分保守。一位英文维基编者说，在他过去13年的编辑生涯中，从未看见像这样的公告出现在首页上。

美媒：俄罗斯网军从维基百科里找素材

《纽约时报》日前报道，俄罗斯网军为了干预美国2020年总统大选而注册了成批的脸书（Facebook）帐号，发表支持特朗普的言论。《纽约时报》说，俄罗斯网军操控的脸书机器人为了躲过脸书公司对俄罗斯网军的反制措施，开始从英文维基百科里复制粘贴文本，添加到自己在脸书上的贴文中。

瑞士政府直接用维基百科上的新冠病毒死亡数据

【北京4月3日电】据瑞士“共和国”（Republik）新闻网报道，瑞士联邦公共卫生局在面对突如其来的新型冠状病毒COVID-19疫情时，难以收集汇总各方数据，便索性采用维基百科上记录的新冠病毒死亡人数作为官方发布的统计数字。

“共和国”新闻网跟数个瑞士联邦公共卫生局的信源确认，瑞士政府早前公布的官方死亡数据是从维基百科以及其他外界媒体报道得来的。这一现象直到3月下旬才得到改善。因为瑞士政府自己的数据汇报体系难以工作，瑞士政府才不得不依赖维基百科这样的渠道来获取数据。“共和国”新闻网援引信源说，他们发现在维基百科上，不同的编者会根据媒体报道等来源，把来自瑞士联邦各州的死亡人数手动计算在一起。

“共和国”新闻网报道说，瑞士国内的新冠疫情汇报体系混乱不堪，很多情况下甚至需要手填纸质表格，然后用传真发信。

由于原主编无暇等种种原因，《维基人》一度停刊五、六年之久，但我们从未放弃打造自由维基社群刊物的理想。在许多人的努力下，即日起，《维基人》正式复刊，与各位朋友们再相见；最新一期的站内版本已经上线，而PDF版本预定将于今年5月1日释出。此回，我们不仅致力于在促进读者对于维基的了解中展拓参与维基的群体，更着眼于打造一本对维基人来说可读、可用、可亲的刊物。我们不仅贡献自己的绵薄之力，亦伫候大家的投稿。我们也希望在诸位维基人的才智的浇灌中，《维基人》能够名书竹帛，垂范百世。

过去一个月（2020年3月21日至2020年4月17日）内，中文维基百科内外之重要人事及政策变动大致如下，个别项目基本依变动或施行时间先后排序：

方针与指引重要变动：重大的方针与指引修订。过去一个月内，互助客栈方针区共有新提案16项，另有3项提案获得通过：

1. 《快速删除方针》：修订〈条目〉一节，调整A5准则条文内容，允许与其他现有条目内容非常相似的条目符合A5款。（讨论记录）
2. 《避免地域中心》：修订〈非官方机构及国际活动〉一节，在不牵涉台湾的情况下，允许在与香港、澳门作非政治性用途对比时使用“中国大陆”一词。（讨论记录）
3. 《COVID-19条目共识》：依据社群讨论结果，正式订立2019冠状病毒病（COVID-19）相关条目共识指引，避免在相关条目发生编辑战时遭到管理员全保护处理。（讨论记录）

    • create design system components to continue improving consistency

  • zotkat's exporter for Zotero (a software to manage bibliographic data) allows you to export bibliographies to the QuickStatements format. It is helpful to easily create bibliographical entries, especially as Zotero can read metadata about works from dozens of other websites, and can thus be used as intermediary.
