史特勞斯公園

有人以鮮花與蠟燭裝飾伊西多·史特勞斯及艾達·斯特勞斯（英語：Ida Straus）紀念雕塑，攝於2012年4月15日，鐵達尼號沉沒100周年

斯特勞斯公園（英語：Straus Park）是紐約曼哈頓上西城的一座園景公園。位於百老匯、西區大道（英語：West End Avenue）以及第106街（英語：106th Street (Manhattan)）交匯處。距鐵達尼號紀念燈塔六英里。

其中最引人注目的是1913年美國藝術家亨利·奧古斯塔斯·盧克曼（英語：Henry Augustus Lukeman）所雕刻的一位女子凝視着靜謐水面的青銅雕像，用以紀念艾達·斯特勞斯（英語：Ida Straus）及伊西多·史特勞斯夫婦兩人。伊西多是美國國會眾議員，也是梅西百貨合伙人之一，於鐵達尼號上不幸罹難^[1]^[2]。雕塑原型為奧黛麗·蒙森（英語：Audrey Munson）^[3]。上邊還鐫刻了《撒母耳記》上的一段經文：「他們在生與死之時都優雅快樂，他們從未分開^{[註 1]}。」意思是艾達選擇與她心愛的丈夫伊西多一同留在鐵達尼號上，而非安全搭上救生艇^[4]。

斯特勞斯夫婦故居位於百老匯2747號的一所房子裏，位於第105街和106街之間，紀念館以南一個街區處^[5]。

公園位於百老匯與西區大道交匯處的一個小三角形地塊內。其早先名為斯凱勒廣場（Schuyler Square），1895年被城市收購，而後於1907年更名為布魯明戴爾廣場（Bloomingdale Square）^[6]。1995年至1997年間，斯特勞斯公園進行了翻新，並向西擴展，朝西區大道方向擴大了15英尺。斯特勞斯家族建立的基金提供資助，將雕塑前面一個不起眼的水池改為植被。斯特勞斯公園之友（The Friends of Straus Park）則負責資金維護和種植時令鮮花^[5]^[7]。
