藏斯卡語是一種瀕危藏語，主要分佈在拉達克藏斯卡，喜馬偕爾邦拉豪爾高海拔地區的僧侶也有使用。^[3]用藏文書寫。^[4]

藏斯卡語可被分為4個同源方言，分別是分佈在多多河沿岸的上藏斯卡語、法杜姆河谷中的中藏斯卡語、贊斯卡河下游的下藏斯卡語、贊斯卡河上游的隆納格藏斯卡語。^[5]
