長島級護航航空母艦

長島級護航航空母艦（英文：Long Island-class escort carrier），是第二次世界大戰期間美國海軍改裝的護航航空母艦之一，最初被列為「AVG」（飛機護航艦），改建自C3級商船。

長島級首艦長島號（英語：USS Long Island (CVE-1)）最初的舷號是AVG-1，後改為ACV-1，最後定為CVE-1。1940年1月11日下水。

第二艘射手號（英語：HMS Archer (D78)）於1939年12月14日下水，第二次世界大戰期間在英國皇家海軍服役。美國海軍記錄中舷號為BAVG-1；據推論「B」應是代表「英國」之意。^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5]
