索甲仁波切（藏语：བསོད་རྒྱལ་，威利转写：Bsod-rgyal，1947年—2019年8月28日[1]），出生于康区甘孜县，佛教人物、作家，属于藏传佛教宁玛派佐钦传承之上师。曾旅居西方，2017年开始接受结肠癌治疗，2019年因肺栓塞圆寂于泰国[2]。
其畅销名著《西藏生死书》，此书被翻译成30种文字、在56国发行，回响颇大，内容为以六中有解释佛教的轮回观。其创立遍布四十余国之本觉会，为西方宣传藏传佛教重要之组织。
师承[编辑]
主要师承二世宗萨钦哲确吉罗卓，在康区宗萨寺学习，被认证为被认为是十三世达赖的老师拖顿索甲伏藏师之转世。1971年获得资助以访问学人的身份，前往剑桥大学三一学院学习宗教比较[3]。旅居西方时，亲炙数位耆老，并为之翻译法教：二世敦珠仁波切、顶果钦哲仁波切和纽修堪仁波切[4] 。于1973安排十四世达赖喇嘛拜访罗马天主教教宗保禄六世[5]。
争议[编辑]
索甲仁波切生前也传出多起性侵事件，但从未被定罪[6]。1994年在旧金山遭女学员控告性侵，求偿1000万美元，最后庭外和解[7][8]。多起性侵事件使以往与他过从甚密的十四世达赖也出面批判，指他“蒙羞”[9]。
