西澳大学（英語: University of Western Australia）1911年創校，位於澳大利亚西澳大利亞州的首府珀斯，在澳洲被歸為6所砂岩學府（Sandstone universities）之一。西澳大学自創校以來，一直是澳洲的最具歷史，代表性和實力的頂尖研究型學府之一，在眾多權威的澳洲大學排名中名列前茅。同時也是澳大利亞最享有盛譽的澳洲八大名校（Group of Eight）的聯盟成員之一。它在各個領域中對西澳大利亞州和國家發展與繁榮皆有巨大貢獻。

最新的2012年度，QS世界大學排名將西澳大学列為全球排名第79名。在2007年，西澳大学全球排名為64。

2008年學生總數有17,436人，研究生人數達4,199。西澳大學早期位於珀斯的商業中心區，1930年代遷往現時南區卞羅尼（Crawley）的校址。

2007年度，西澳大學的研究經費排名澳洲第七，達澳幣$13,215,813[1]，而在學習及教學表現基金（Learning and Teaching Performance Fund）方面則有澳幣$4,226,105[2]。
