托芙蘿以坦率、不經修飾以及深受油漬搖滾啟發見稱，被滾石雜誌形容為「瑞典最黑暗的國際流行歌手」。她的歌詞自傳風格強烈、誠實、百感交集，亦令她獲得「最傷心的瑞典女孩」之稱。[5]
