球角朽木虫科（Archeocrypticidae）是属于鞘翅目昆虫中的一个小类群，虽然它们并没有传统的英文俗名，近代的学者多以 cryptic fungus beetles 来作为本科昆虫的英文俗名。成、幼虫似乎皆为食腐性昆虫，并且都被发现于腐植物中。全球已有约 10 个属，一共 50 个种被发现。大部分的种类分布在泛热带界[1]。其中Enneboeus caseyi这个种类在美国南部、墨西哥以及中美洲都有记录[1]。Enneboeus和Australenneboeus这两个属约有20个种在澳洲被发现[2]。
