紐約地鐵挑戰賽
紐約地鐵挑戰賽（英語：Subway Challenge）是在紐約地鐵中舉行的挑戰賽，選手們必須在儘可能短的時間內坐遍整個紐約地鐵系統。 這一挑戰賽也被稱為快速挑戰賽或是終極旅程。儘管這項挑戰要求參賽者要經停所有472個車站，但並沒有人完成這一記錄。一名參賽者在2017年1月第二大道線開通前，完成了469個車站的記錄。所有其他參賽者均在2015年9月紐約地鐵7號線延伸段以及2017年1月第二大道線開通前完成挑戰，故他們的記錄均只有468個車站。
該挑戰有三大不同類別：
- 要求選手必須經過所有線路，但是不需要從頭至尾坐完所有線路。（A類）
- 要求選手途徑整個地鐵系統，每個車站都要經停。（B類）
- 要求選手只需途徑所有車站，允許跳站。（C類）
這三大類別由彼得 · 薩姆森於1966年創辦的紐約地鐵乘客業餘愛好者委員會（Amateur New York Subway Riding Committee，簡稱ANYSRC）定義。吉尼斯世界紀錄認可的規則與B類規則大體一致。唯一的不同之處在於，ANYSRC要求整個乘坐過程必須使用一張單程票完成，而吉尼斯規則則允許「換乘線路時可以使用按時刻表運行的公共交通或者步行。不可使用私人機動車、出租車或者其他形式的私人交通方式（如自行車、滑板等）。」快速交通挑戰賽的網站上有完整的吉尼斯規則，此規則類似於倫敦地鐵挑戰賽的規則。[1]
