巨无霸地球

被认为是巨无霸地球的克卜勒-10c、地球与海王星体积比较。

巨无霸地球(mega-Earth)的定义是质量至少是地球10倍的岩石质类地太阳系外行星。巨无霸地球的质量较超级地球(质量为地球5到10倍的类地行星海洋行星)更大。“巨无霸地球”一词于2014年发现系外行星克卜勒-10c时首次出现。该行星的质量相当于海王星,但是密度却高于地球[1][2][3]
