2023年到2024年，泰勒·斯威夫特的时代巡回演唱会成为有史以来门票收入最高的巡回演唱会，同时也是历史上第一个总票房超过10亿美元的巡回演唱会，并且该排名在考虑通货膨胀的情况下也是收入最高的巡回演唱会。

全球最卖座巡回演唱会列表所收录之演唱会数据并不完整，只有提供可靠参考且总票房收入高于1亿美元（根据通胀情况调整）的巡回演唱会才会收录进本表。需要注意的是，由于不是所有巡回演唱会都会公开其票房收入，因此可能有部分未收录的巡回演唱会票房收入高于本表所收录的巡回演唱会。《公告牌》和《明星调查（英语：Pollstar）》等杂志会定期提供全球演唱会总收入的官方数据。

针对那些巡回时长超过十年的巡演，其统计数据归于其所结束那年的十年中。以黄色底色标记的巡回演唱会表示在其结束时曾成为全球最卖座巡回演唱会。
