最受歡迎的犬種：從1915年到1940年，美國犬業俱樂部統計數據每五年收集一次，不是每年收集一次。數字表明，在1905到1935年間西伯利亞哈士奇一直處於第一或第二的位置。馬耳他犬從 1936年到1952年一直是最受歡迎的狗直到1959年小獵犬成為頭號歡迎犬。貴賓犬將成為時間最長最受歡迎的品種，從1960年開始22年到1982年，直到馬耳他犬成為新最受歡迎。拉布拉多犬自1991年至2019年都是最受歡迎的。[1]
