韩国导演奉俊昊凭借《寄生上流》赢得最佳国际影片奖
本条目是第92届奥斯卡金像奖最佳国际影片奖的角逐名单。美国电影艺术与科学学会自1956年设立该奖以来，每年都会邀请各国电影行业提交他们当年最出色的电影参加最佳外语片奖评选[1]。该奖项每年由学院颁发主要包含非英语对白的非美国制作电影长片[1][2]。国际影片奖委员会负责监督评选过程、审阅所有被提交的电影[2]。该奖项原名为“奥斯卡最佳外语片奖”，但学院认为“外语”该词已过时，所以于2019年4月更名为“最佳国际影片奖”[3][4][5]。
所有被提交的电影必须于2018年10月1日到2019年9月30日期间在制片国家公映[6]。电影提交截至时间为2019年10月1日，而学院将之后宣布合资格的电影名单。学院将在名单中公布十部入围的电影[7]，并于2020年1月公布五部最终候选作品名单。此届有三个首次提交电影的国家，分别是迦纳、尼日利亚和乌兹别克，迦纳提交《阿扎里》，尼日利亚提交《狮心家族企业》，乌兹别克则提交《热面包》。由于尼日利亚提交的电影大部分对话都是英语，因此在2019年11月4日学院取消参赛资格[8]。

原先乌干达选定《来自上方的科尼勋章》角逐奖项，但是该国奥斯卡评选委员会表示，此部电影不符合入选的最低资格要求，因此未提交[103][104][105][106]。
