可再生資源,也稱爲流动資源[註 1] [1]是一種自然資源,能夠在一定時間内透過自然收生產或其他循環過程來補充及替代耗盡的資源。當資源的再生率不可能超過人類時間尺度时,這些資源稱爲永久資源[1]可再生資源是地球自然環境的一部分,也是生態圈最大組成部分。正面的生命周期评估是資源可持續性的關鍵指標。

可再生資源的定义也包括農業生產,如農產品水資源[2] 1962年, 保羅·阿爾弗雷德·韋斯定義可再生資源是“所有為人類提供生命、纖維等的生命體 " 。 [3]另一種可再生資源是可再生能源。可再生能源的常見來源包括太陽能、地熱能和風能,這些都歸類為可再生資源。淡水也是可再生資源的例子。
