在2008年对卡迪亚拉（Kaudiyala）和瑞诗凯诗之间的海滩营地进行的一项研究中，戈文德巴拉喜马拉雅环境研究所的专家进行了研究。
国家绿色法庭已寻求印度政府和北阿坎德邦政府对在地区恒河两岸漂流营地的“不受管制”行动进行解释。州政府向法庭保证，直到5月的下一次听证会之前，不会批准新的漂流营[3][4][5][6][7][8]。
