CarPlay（原名iOS in the Car，即車載iOS系統）是蘋果公司推出的一種產業標準，主要為令其iOS設備能夠與諸多製造商之嵌入式汽車系統共生而設計。其概念在2013年6月10日的蘋果公司全球軟件開發者年會（WWDC）之開幕式主題演講中被首度公之於眾。^[1]

功能[編輯]

CarPlay旨在令用戶透過汽車製造商之原生車載系統來使用、操控iOS設備並發揮其功能。該產品的首個版本計劃於2014年發布，最早會出現在一些製造商的汽車展覽上。

目前，CarPlay能夠與iOS設備整合的幾項功能有：^[1]

Siri Eyes Free模式：無須雙眼注視與手指觸摸即可控制；

衛星導航（Satnav）；

通話指令與控制；

音樂控制；

iMessage的控制與回復。

同時，第三方應用程式也將會支援。但開發人員需要經過蘋果公司的許可^[2]才能在CarPlay上使用^[3]。分別是：

音頻：主要提供音樂或播客等音頻內容。例如亞馬遜音樂、iHeartRadio、JOOX、QQ音樂、網易雲音樂、Spotify、Stitcher、TuneIn、喜馬拉雅FM、YouTube Music。

導航：用於搜索興趣點以及導航到目的地。例如高德地圖、百度地圖、谷歌地圖、Waze。

即時通訊：用於發送短信、語音通話等功能。例如LINE、Telegram、WhatsApp、微信、Zoom。

飲食訂購與停車服務應用程序。

汽車製造商、系統供應商[編輯]

在2013年WWDC的主題演講上，蘋果公司互聯網軟件與服務高級副總裁埃迪·克尤（Eddy Cue）宣布：部分汽車製造商自2014年起將着手參與CarPlay的功能實施。^[1] 諸如寶馬等起初宣稱不會加入的製造商隨後改變態度，表示有可能跟進這一產業標準並將其引入它們的汽車之中。^[4]^[5] 系統開發供應商主要有ALPINE、KENWOOD、Pioneer、SONY...等廠商。

2013年11月，本田與謳歌方面表示Siri Eyes Free操控模式在美國已作為本田雅閣2013-14款以及謳歌2013款RDX與ILX車型的經銷商安裝配件被添加，且日後將會出現更深層次的整合。^[9]
2013年12月，本田稱由其自家桌面應用能夠尋找、組織、快速整合併令用戶簡便地使用其認可的車載第三方應用程序。該產品將主導更多針對新型HondaLink服務的整合，未來會出現在其名為「Display Audio」、基於7英寸屏幕的系統上。其服務將率先為思域2014款與飛度2015款提供並在美國和加拿大面世。^[10]

蘋果最早在2013年6月10日的的WWDC上將這種iOS功能在汽車上的延伸稱作「車載iOS」（iOS in the Car），^[1]不過開發過程中該項目的代碼為Stark。iOS 7.1的Beta 1與2版包含了一些關於iOS不久後運行於汽車中的細節，暗示了它將很快被發布。^[11]根據2014年1月的媒體報道，車載iOS的發布由於蘋果自身的企劃問題而被推遲，主要是由於其管理團隊「並不完全確定」在軟件方面的下一步計劃，而開發團隊不得不為了在WWDC上的展示時間而「竭力遊說」之。^[12]

2014年3月3日，蘋果通過向媒體發放新聞稿以及更新官方網站的頁面來宣布先前的車載iOS服務已更名為CarPlay，同時也聲稱有更多的製造商願意藉此整合未來的汽車，且CarPlay能夠與iPhone最新的三個版本（5S、5C與5）搭配使用。^[6]^[13]

2018年9月推出的iOS 12所內建之CarPlay開始支援第三方導航應用程式，例如Google地圖，提供導航使用者更多選擇。

隨著iOS 14的發布，CarPlay已更新為讓用戶自訂內置的背景圖片。新版本中地圖的導航功能擴展至具有提醒用戶可用停泊點的功能，例如泊車及點餐。此外，CarPlay還會考慮電動車充動站的位置，使用者現在亦可以於地圖的導航功能中尋找得到為汽車充電的位置^[14]。
