古羅馬攻城器械是直接師承自古希臘的科技，並為他們帶來一次又一次的勝利[1]。而凱撒大帝更是將它的技術含量推到極端，為羅馬帝國擴張疆土給予極大的幫助[2]。當時主要的攻城器械為弩、投石車、梯子、攻城塔、攻城槌及地道等工具。
