工業與應用數學學會
工業與應用數學學會（英語：Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics，簡稱SIAM）是世界最大的應用數學專業團體，總部位於美國賓夕法尼亞州費城，1952年成立。學會宗旨為鼓勵數學在工業和科學問題中的應用，促進應用數學愛好者的交流。[1]:7–8[2]:157
創建該學會的構想始於1951年，首次組織會議在德雷克塞爾理工學院召開。對其名稱的提案起初為「應用與工業數學學會」（Society for Applied and Industrial Mathematics），但因為「SIAM」這一縮寫更為有趣，名稱中的「應用」與「工業」二詞作了交換。學會於1952年4月30日在特拉華州正式註冊。[3]
