Apple TV+是蘋果公司推出的一項串流媒體OTT服務隨選視訊訂閱服務。在2019年3月25日的蘋果產品發布會上首次亮相，並於2019年11月1日正式推出[2]。
簡介
蘋果公司早在正式宣佈Apple TV+之前便已經開始積極籌備原創節目，屬於首發陣容之一的《晨間直播秀》便是在2017年11月確定製作。[3]但在當時，蘋果公司並未進一步說明公司旗下的作品將以何種形式發行。直到2019年3月25日蘋果產品發佈會上，蘋果公司才向對外證實將會推出自家的串流媒體服務。
相比起主要的競爭對手Netflix、Hulu、HBO Max同時以原創作品和外購作品作為賣點，蘋果公司則是主要將Apple TV+視為播放原創作品的重要媒介。蘋果公司主要透過和各大影視公司合作，並作為獨家的發行商，在Apple TV+上架這些原創作品。根據蘋果公司執行長提姆·庫克的回應，Apple TV+的重心會以蘋果公司的原創作品為主，並且不會重播以往的舊節目，也不會播放由其他公司擁有發行權的作品。[4]
另一方面，Apple TV+的訂閱價格比競爭對手為低。以美國區域的Apple TV+作為例子，用戶訂閱後擁有7天免費試用期，之後每月收取4.99美元，這比起Netflix基本方案每月7.99美元還要便宜。[5]
除此之外，蘋果公司為了推廣本服務推出了特別的優惠。在服務開始的初期，用戶只要購買全新的蘋果公司產品（包括Mac電腦、iPhone、IPad、IPod touch、Apple TV）並於購買日起的90天內換取優惠，便可免費收看Apple TV+的節目一年。而訂閱了學生收費計劃的Apple Music用戶也可以免費收看Apple TV+的節目，直至用戶不再擁有Apple Music的學生資格為止。[6]目前這些優惠仍在進行中。
