Google月球X大奖賽Google Lunar X PRIZE[1][2]是一个太空竞赛,由X奖基金会發起,Google赞助。[3]

Google月球X大奖賽徵求團隊完成無人探測器登陸月球,在月面移动500米,并传输数据和清晰图片回地球[4]

2015年,XPRIZE宣布如果至少有一支隊伍能在2015年12月31日前獲得發射合約[5],比賽最後期限將延長到2017年12月[6]

截至2016年,16支隊伍參加比賽,有兩個隊伍(SpaceIL和Moon Express)具有2017年發射合約[6][7]。其他隊伍在2016年年底前必須獲得發射合約[8]

2013年11月,Google月球X大奖組織宣布,里程碑大獎將頒發給為證明關鍵技術的隊伍。獎金合計600萬美元:

  • 1000,000美元(最多3支隊伍):登陸系統里程碑大獎,證明硬件和軟件可以實現在月球上軟著陸。
  • 500,000美元(最多4支隊伍):機動性系統里程碑大獎,證明移動系統可以使機器在登陸後移動500米。
  • 250,000美元(最多4支隊伍):影像系統里程碑大獎,證明在月球表面可以拍攝高品質圖像和視頻。
