副脾是在脾臟之外獨立存在的、具有脾組織與脾功能的小結節。人群中副脾的存在率約10%。[1]典型為直徑1cm。類似於一個淋巴結或小型的脾臟。發育異常或創傷。[2]臨床上可導致醫學圖像的解讀錯誤。[2]或導致脾摘除術後症狀依然存在。[1] 多脾症是有多個副脾。
副脾多見於脾門（the hilum of the spleen），相鄰於胰尾。
