胰島素樣生長因子1(英語:Insulin-like growth factor 1IGF-1)也被稱為生長調節素C(somatomedin C),是一個由人類基因 IGF1 編碼的蛋白質[4][5]。在1970年代,IGF-1也曾經被稱為「酸硫化英語sulfation因子」[6],並認為其作用為「不受抑制的胰島樣活力」(nonsuppressible insulin-like activity,NSILA)。

IGF-1是一個在三級結構上與胰島素類似的激素,在兒童成長發育中有重要作用,並持續在成人的合成代謝中起作用。一種人工合成的IGF-1類似物,美卡舍明英語mecasermin,用於治療發育停滯[7]

IGF-1蛋白由一個肽鏈構成,包括70個胺基酸殘基和三個分子內二硫鍵,分子量為7,649道爾頓[8]
