激进中间主义

激进中间主义（英語：Radical centrism），又称激进中间、激进中间派，是20世纪末西方国家兴起的一个概念。该术语中的“激进”指的是最激进的中间派愿意呼吁对机构进行根本性改革。 ^[1]“中间主义”指的是一种信念，即真正的解决方案需要现实主义和实用主义，而不仅仅是理想主义和情感。 ^[2]

一本激进中间主义著作将该意识形态定义为“没有幻想的理想主义”^[3]，这句话最初出自约翰·肯尼迪。^[4]由于这种方法，激进中间主义通常认可证据而不是意识形态为指导原则。激进中间主义者借鉴左翼和右翼的思想，并经常将它们融合在一起。^[5]他们中的大多数支持基于市场经济的社会问题解决方案，同时认为政府应从公共利益出发，实施强有力的监督。^[6]他们也支持加强全球参与和发展中国家中产阶级的壮大。^[7]
