Goobuntu
Goobuntu是一個Google內部使用的Linux發行版，基於Ubuntu長期支援（long term support，LTS）版本，在20000僱員中有近一半使用它[1]。它增加了許多供內部使用的軟件套件，其中包括安全增強功能，並禁止安裝某些應用程式，但其它部分仍相似。谷歌負責公司Linux桌面的經理湯瑪斯·布殊內爾在LinuxCon 2012展示了Goobuntu。布殊內爾解釋說：「Goobuntu就只是在標準的Ubuntu之外加了一層佈景主題而已。」[2]
有人稱，谷歌可能計劃向外界推出該發行版[3][4][5]。雖然谷歌和領導Ubuntu開發的馬克·沙特爾沃思都已證實Goobuntu存在，並且於內部使用[6]，兩人都堅決否認谷歌有任何計劃向市場推出該作業系統[7]。
