沙門菌屬（學名：Salmonella）又稱沙門氏菌屬，泛稱沙門菌、沙門氏菌，是腸桿菌科下的一個屬，革蘭氏陰性，無芽孢，無莢膜，多數有周生鞭毛和菌毛。沙門菌可引起腸熱症（傷寒、副傷寒）、胃腸炎、敗血症等。
沙門菌由美國病理學家丹尼爾·埃爾默·沙門（Daniel Elmer Salmon）最早發現，目前已發現1800種以上，按抗原成分可分為甲、乙、丙、丁、戊等基本菌型；其中腸道沙門菌下有六個亞種[1]，超過2600個血清型[2]。沙門菌可經由人、貓、狗、蟑螂、老鼠等途徑污染食品[3]。
沙門菌大多數能引起家畜、鼠類和禽類等動物的疾病，少數種能引起人類的疾病，但有時人吃了含菌食物也引起食物中毒。與人類疾病有關的主要有甲組的副傷寒甲桿菌，乙組的副傷寒乙桿菌和鼠傷寒桿菌，丙組的副傷寒丙桿菌和豬霍亂桿菌，丁組的傷寒和腸炎桿菌。
