日立魔杖（Hitachi Magic Wand，后来先后改名为Magic Wand Original以及Original Magic Wand，可简称为魔杖）是一款由日立生产，并需交流电供电的电动按摩棒。虽然最初是为了舒缓压力和放松肌肉而制造出来，但后来其经常出现在日本AV中当作按摩棒使用而变得更加知名。日立公司于1968年把这款产品推出至美国市面。于美国性积极运动（20世纪60年代末）期间，性教育工作者贝蒂·多德森（英语：Betty Dodson）视其为一款按摩棒，并以此对当时的美国人民推广。它可充作一款帮助女性达至高潮的阴蒂按摩棒（英语：clitoral vibrator），并能在此用途中发挥良好的效用。它的长度为30厘米，重540克。长6.4厘米的前端则由橡胶所制造，并为刺激的提供源。

为了纪念性用品店“震得好”（Good Vibrations）创立15周年，日立的管理层曾为一款模仿魔杖外型的巧克力提供金钱上的资助。但在1999年日立官方却宣称这产品只有“促进健康”这一项用途。2000年期间，日立与美国的经销商之间发生了一些冲突，并因此暂停该设备在美国的销售，直至与Vibratex这间经销商达成新的协议后才愎售。

《欲望城市》的主角曾于2002年播出的一集中，推荐女性们使用魔杖，于是迅即引起了“魔杖抢购潮”，许多性用品商店在该时都有卖至缺货的记录。在2013年，日立决定停止生产该设备，因为担心许多人会因此把“日立”此一名称跟性玩具挂勾。“Vibratex”其后说服了日立，让这款产品能以“Original Magic Wand”的名义继续在市面上贩卖，此一名称使得“日立”的名号得以省去，不用再出现在产品名称上，后来于2014年日立再度把此产品更名为“Magic Wand Original”。

研究者们曾研究将其应用于女性性唤起障碍和性高潮障碍（一种使人不能达至高潮的性功能障碍）的治疗上。《咨询与临床心理学杂志（英语：Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology）》于1979年发表了一项研究，当中发现自我治疗和使用日立魔杖是达至高潮的最佳方法。2008年，一项发表于《世界科学杂志（英语：The Scientific World Journal）》的研究发现，500名患有慢性性高潮障碍的女性当中有超过93％可以透过魔杖和由贝蒂·多德森研究出来的方法来达至高潮。刊于《皮肤病学在线杂志（英语：Dermatology Online Journal）》、《应用生理学杂志（英语：Journal of Applied Physiology）》、《实验大脑研究（英语：Experimental Brain Research）》、《神经科学通讯（英语：Neuroscience Letters）》、《围产期和新生儿护理杂志（英语：Journal of Perinatal & Neonatal Nursing）》的研究亦曾应用此产品。

魔杖亦有诸如“按摩棒中的凯迪拉克”[1][2][3]、“按摩棒中的劳斯莱斯”[4][5][6]、“按摩棒之母”[7][8][9]般的赞称。像贝蒂娜·阿恩特（英语：Bettina Arndt）、劳拉·伯曼（英语：Laura Berman）、格洛里亚·布拉姆（英语：Gloria Brame），以及露丝·韦斯特海默（英语：Ruth Westheimer）般的性顾问亦公开向女性推荐此一产品。女性时尚杂志《柯梦波丹》指出魔杖是最受性治疗师推荐的按摩棒。在2005年，《Mobile Magazine手机杂志》的读者也在其举办的投票中评选出魔杖为“最受欢迎的产品”[10]。由谭雅·维克斯勒（英语：Tanya Wexler）担当导演的2011年电影《歇斯底里》在介绍按摩棒的演变史时也加插了魔杖的影像在内。网志Engadget把此一产品形容为“地球上最知名的性玩具”[11]。

设计和功能[编辑]

1968年4月25日，日立为魔杖向美国专利及商标局申请商业专利。[11][12]

此一产品的长度为30厘米，重540克[1][4][11]。长6.4厘米的橡胶前端能为肌肉和神经提供刺激，并通过富弹性的颈状部位跟主体部分连接[13][14]。主体连接着一条长1.8米的电线，以使其能通过插座获得电力驱动，因此它并不需要电池提供电力[15]；它需使用电压为110伏特的电力才可正常运作[11][15]。使用者可以以主体上的按钮调控其振动频率，但只能在两个频率（5,000/6,000rpm）之间切换——两者相当于83Hz和100Hz[11][13][16]。《性和关系治疗（英语：Sexual and Relationship Therapy）》杂志的研究则确定其振动频率分别为89Hz和101Hz[15]。据测量数据显示，其橡胶前端的位移为0.45毫米，加速度则为185.7微克[15]。由于魔杖最初不是为了性刺激而设计出来，所以在用于此目的时会出现一些缺陷[11]。它的体积、对市电的依赖以及不能防水都会限制其便携性：除了这些缺点外，它还有容易过热的问题：连续使用25分钟以上便会过热[11]。它不适合以美国以外的国家的电源插座提供电源[17][18]。

由于魔杖在市面上大受欢迎，所以各种相应的售后附加组件亦应运而生，其能使魔杖增添不同的颜色和材质[11][13]。这些附加组件由许多与日立无关的公司负责生产[19]。但按摩器本身就可充作一款帮助女性达至高潮的阴蒂按摩棒，且能在此用途中发挥良好的效用[20]。此外市面亦有可安装在设备顶部的附加组件，用以加强对阴蒂的刺激[5]。一款称为“神奇魔杖”（Wonder Wand）的附加组件可以让女性于阴道深处感受到震动[16][21]。一篇刊于《皮肤病学在线杂志》的论文指出，“神奇魔杖”是由一种跟魔杖相似的物料制成，且用后只需简单清洁[16]。另有一款由硅胶制成的附加组件可以使女性更能感受到魔杖进入阴道后的感觉，且能使魔杖的质地有所改变[22]。还有两款附加组件能使魔杖变为G点按摩棒——分别是“G-Spotter”和“Gee-Whiz”[4][23]。“Fluffer Tip Wand Attachment”（“松软的末梢”魔杖附加组件）可使使用魔杖的女性体会到类似于舐阴的感觉[24]。“救星轴”（Liberator Axis）是一个经特别设计的垫子，用户可把魔杖放在垫子的专用放置位，继使自身不用用手来拿着魔杖[9][25]。人们能在贝蒂·多德森的网站获得附加组件的使用说明并购买之[16][26]。尽管男性亦可直接地使用魔杖来刺激前列腺，但亦可与附加组件“Gee-Whiz”一并使用之[4]。一间与日立无关的公司生产了一种套用于魔杖顶端的附加组件，使其能充当成男性自慰套[19]。

以按摩器之名登场[编辑]

日立于1968年4月25日为魔杖向美国专利及商标局申请商业专利[11][12]，并注册其商标为日立制作所（Kabushiki Kaisha Hitachi Seisakusho）[27]。及后于20世纪70年代推出美国市面，标榜其为一款具按摩功能的器具[28][29]，能有效减轻与背痛有关的痛楚。并以治疗性电动按摩器的名义向美国食品药品监督管理局登记[30]。官方宣称其能舒缓压力、放松肌肉和神经、缓解紧张，并促进运动性损伤的康复[11][13]。

开始遭视作性玩具的魔杖[编辑]

魔杖因被用作女性的自慰辅助工具（按摩棒）而取得商业上的成功[11][32]。它的成功部分可归因于美国艺术家兼性教育家贝蒂·多德森，她把魔杖应用于教导女性自慰技巧的教学课程中[11][32]。多德森于20世纪60年代开始参与性积极运动（英语：Sex-positive movement）[33]，并建议女性把小毛巾放在她们的性器官上，用以减轻按摩棒对其的刺激，把愉悦感的持续时间延长[34]。她的自慰技巧及后遭称为多德森方法（Betty Dodson Method）[35]。她的教学课程则名为“身体情欲工作坊”（Bodysex workshops）。在课程中她每次都会使用魔杖来教导15名女性自慰的技巧[36]。她为长达2小时的工作坊的每名参与者都提供了一枝魔杖[37]，并教导了过百名女性以魔杖来达至高潮[36]。

美国第一家专为女性服务的性用品商店“夏娃花园”（Eve’s Garden）的创始人戴尔·威廉姆斯原本亦是多德森的学生之一。她在20世纪70年代初因在课上使用了魔杖而决定开辨夏娃花园[38][39]。威廉姆斯表示魔杖是她最喜欢的性玩具，因为其具有充足的可靠性和取悦阴蒂的力量[40]。多德森于其著作《自慰解放》中再次推荐女性使用是一产品[19]。她还于1975年的示威中以魔杖取代松下电器所推出的全身按摩器“Panasonic Panabrator”[11]。1977年，多德森把魔杖推介给男性杂志《Leg Show》和《Juggs》的编辑迪安·汉森（英语：Dian Hanson）[11]。汉森于是购买了一枝魔杖并使用之；用毕后认为应对其情感和身体影响多加注意，因为它拥有令人产生习惯性依赖的性质。她还认为魔杖比起以前需使用两枚1号电池的按摩棒更为有效果[11]。

魔杖是性用品店“震得好”（Good Vibrations）自1977年开业以来最畅销的按摩棒[11][31]。它对女性们标榜魔杖为一款有效地刺激阴蒂的工具[41]。自此魔杖便成为了美国性用品店历久不衰的畅销产品[19]。女性们会俗称其为“Big Buzzy”（大风钻）[26][42]，或简称其为“The Hitachi”（日立的）[3][19][43][44]。宣传它的广告亦于20世纪80年代期间刊在《琼斯夫人》杂志的背面[11]。它在日后逐渐变得受女性欢迎，并成为了乔尼·布兰克（英语：Joani Blank）所著的《满意的振荡：新按摩棒完全指南》（Good Vibrations: The New Complete Guide to Vibrators）的封面[26][45]——该著作的初版、1989年版，和1998年版皆以魔杖为封面[31][46]。震得好的经理于其15周年纪念日中订造了一个模仿魔杖外观的巧克力[36]。日立公司总部的销售人员为该巧克力提供了经济上的资助[36]，其管理层还于销售会议上派发他们所购买的500个魔杖型巧克力[36]。

魔杖的原代理商美国器具公司（Appliance Corporation of America）于2000年跟日立发生了一些冲突[1]，使得魔杖于美国市面上暂缓销售[1]。同年6月，日立与位于加利福尼亚州的性玩具代理商Vibratex达成新协议，使得它在美国能得以复售[1]。同年泌尿科医师和性障碍专家杰德·卡明斯基在接受《纽约观察报》访问时赞掦魔杖为“享誉于世”的性玩具[1]，并表示他曾将这器具推荐给难以达至性高潮的女性在自慰时使用[1]。据他观察，魔杖的外型是十分适合应用于自慰的，并使其能跻身于“卓越按摩棒”之列[1]。

《欲望城市》第五季的其中一集《十万火急》对大众普及了如何以超越原始设计意图的目的来使用颈部按摩器[19][54][55]。主角之一莎曼珊·琼斯于该集中为了购买按摩棒而去了美国的一间连锁电器店“尖端印象”（Sharper Image）中购买，不过店内的工作人员对她指出她所选购的“按摩棒”只是一款颈部按摩器罢了[19][54][55]。在得到《欲望城市》推广不久后，魔杖便随即遭抢购一空[56][57]。记者纳奥米·沃尔夫（英语：Naomi Wolf）在《星期日泰晤士报》上写道：“我在为面向女性的性玩具目录——《满意的振荡》写一篇文章而进行研究时，获悉魔杖因得到《欲望城市》推广而抢购一空[58]。”分叉按摩棒（英语：Rabbit vibrator）在1998年得到该节目进行类似的推广后[59][60][61]，销售量亦同有增加[56][62]。安迪·艾萨克森的《最佳性写作2013》（Best Sex Writing 2013）指出，《欲望城市》当中所提及的性玩具对美国的文化有所影响[62]。《泰晤士报》指出，魔杖于较后的时间才进入英国市场——2004年才开始出现于英国市面[13]。魔杖的销售量亦足以打入Amazon.com手持按摩器销售排行榜的第7名[63]。费耶·弗拉姆（英语：Faye Flam）在2006年于奈特里德报（Knight Ridder Newspapers ）上指出，亚拉巴马州、乔治亚州和德克萨斯州的反按摩棒法规不适用于魔杖，因为它不是一件阴茎状的物体[64]。该产品是市场上最为畅销的自慰辅助设备之一[65]。

由谭雅·维克斯勒（英语：Tanya Wexler）担任导演的2011年电影《歇斯底里》亦出现过魔杖的影像，该电影把其放在一系列的蒙太奇镜头中，用以介绍按摩棒的演变史[66][67]。2012年8月，美国电影制片人克莱顿·库比特（英语：Clayton James Cubitt）在一项名为“歇斯底里文学”（Hysterical Literature）的视频艺术展览中亦应用魔杖此一产品[68][69][70]。该展览所使用的视频的特点在于其展示了一名女性如何在接受魔杖的刺激底下叙述文学作品的一小部分[68]，每段片段以达至高潮为结尾[68]。查克·谢泼德在报中评论道其为“极棒的艺术[69][70]”。

更名[编辑]

魔杖于2013年重返市场后正式更名为“Magic Wand Original”，这使得“日立”的名号得以省去[3]。

日立于2013年因担心自身的名称跟性玩具挂勾而决定停售魔杖[11]。Vibratex的营运总监埃迪·罗梅罗在接受Engadget访问时形容日立为一间相对保守的公司，因此其不愿跟畅销自慰辅助器具扯上任何关系[11]。Vibratex及后说服了日立，让其决定继续生产魔杖此一产品，并让这款产品能以“Original Magic Wand”的名义继续在市面上贩卖，此一名称使得“日立”的名号得以省去，不用再出现在产品名称上；此外更名后的魔杖所使用的物料亦比以前更轻更耐用[11]。最后魔杖于2013年6月25日重返市场，其包装盒在重返市场时也使用了新的设计和图像[19][71]。在震得好出售的魔杖则以“Original Magic Wand Vibrator”的名义售予顾客[71]。

根据《Shape》杂志的说法，魔杖于2014年1月再度更名为“Magic Wand Original”，并设立了官方网站magicwandoriginal.com，在网站上提供与魔杖有关的资讯[3]。日立在往后都不标榜魔杖拥有性方面的用途[72]，直到2016年10月，但仍只是隐晦地指其为一款“带亲密性”（intimate）的按摩器[73]。贝蒂·多德森在2014年时对Engadget指出，她仍然视魔杖为众多按摩棒中的首选[11]。魔杖在2014年5月5日于FX电视网推出的喜剧《路易不容易（英语：Louie (TV series)）》的一段片段中出现[74][75]。同年魔杖的总销量达至250000枝[11]。2014年11月，斯坦福大学医学院（英语：Stanford School of Medicine）妇产科助理教授利亚·米尔海塞尔对女性们公开推荐魔杖，她在Yahoo!健康上指出，魔杖有助于过了更年期的女性达至高潮，并能使性功能和自尊得以提高[76]。

关于魔杖的学术研究[编辑]

魔杖的性用途[编辑]

一项发表于《咨询与临床心理学杂志》的研究把魔杖加入慢性性高潮障碍的治疗中，尝试协助难以达至高潮的女性解决此一问题[77]。

许多学者都探讨过以魔杖来治疗像慢性性高潮障碍和性唤起障碍般的性问题[35][77][78][79]。《咨询与临床心理学杂志（英语：Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology）》于1979年发表了一项研究，当中先募集了一群在过往难以达至高潮的女性样本，研究者其后为每名女性都发放一枝魔杖，以助她们刺激阴蒂，增加其达至高潮的可能性。该研究最后发现以魔杖自疗性高潮障碍为最有效的方法[77]。

在《肌盘膜痛与纤维肌痛：触痛点管理》一著中，矫形外科医师爱德华·拉赫林和物理治疗师伊莎贝·尔拉赫林建议肌肉痛患者利用魔杖自疗。他们指持续地利用魔杖来按摩激痛点和肌肉紧张区域能减低患者的不适感。他们继指患者可于家中独自进行这种治疗[81]。
